My First Workout Back.


This was a total wake up call to me. I had my first workout back, wasn’t expecting to do anything crazy though. Just want to get my body back into the idea of being physically active.

The most notable thing was when I went to go bench press with dumbbells, I struggled to get 6 reps with 40 lb dumbbells.. what??

There’s two ways I feel about this. I’m simultaneously disappointed and inspired.

Disappointed that I let myself lose a large amount of my strength and muscle.

Inspired because I am excited to get back into this and really push myself farther than I have before and reread this post to see how far I will have come.
